There is a fair selling price for every used vehicle on the market today and we choose to price them that way. Other dealers may "guarantee more for your trade", but they rarely, if ever, do. The "old school" way of selling is to "over allow" on your trade in value. This means they will borrow some of the ridiculous amount of profit markup in their asking price and add it to your trade value. It's real easy to give a customer "top trade in dollar" when you're priced sometimes thousands of dollars higher than we are. We like selling vehicles to people just like you. We like to sell lots of them. We price lower than the other guys so we can sell more vehicles to more people quicker. Why would anyone want to jack up their prices? It just takes up your valuable time. You'll need to price check one dealer against another, driving from city to city, scanning the newspaper ads, driving through countless car lots.
